Join us for a fun interactive workshop to find out all about how archaeology works, the basics of what you need to uncover evidence of the past, and to handle some real archaeological items. Then we'll take a stroll to look for archaeology all around us. Good for kids who have never thought about archaeology before, or keen history lovers. For children aged 8 years and above, and one free accompanying adult per child. £12 per child (including one accompanying adult) Please wear sturdy outdoor boots or shoes as we will be going into areas that may be muddy and will definitely be uneven. If you have any access requirements that need to be considered please let us know in the bookings. This ticket is for one child and one adult only and we hope that you will work together.
