Join us at Hall Farm based at our Brooksby Campus where you will expect to see/do the following: - Tractor tours. - A variety of activities taking place in our glasshouses. - An Agroforestry and Sustainable Farm. - A chance to tour our Equine facilities including our inhouse arenas. - An Animal Care Unit and Farm that house around 105 different species, these include cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, horses and Alpacas. A range of small mammals including rats, rabbits and guinea pigs. Plus a variety of different exotics such as spiders, snakes and reptiles. On site is also a working Kennels and Cattery. - An opportunity to meet some of our Students and Staff. - A range of activities for children. - An opportunity to meet some of local charities that we work with. - Food and refreshments available on site. This is a free event and there will also be free parking on the day. If you have and questions or queries please contact events@loucoll.ac.uk About this farm: Hall Farm is a working farm located within the grounds of a Land-based College, within the heart of Leicestershire. We rear livestock including cows sheep pigs and goats. We also have an animal care department that features various animal breeds including small reptiles and exotics, rodents, small mammals as well as alpacas and horses. We also have a working cattery and kennels on site. On top of this we also grow various arable produce such as wheat, spring oats and our famous Brooksby tomato.
