Read and Chat 11am – 12.30pm on the fourth Friday of the month This is a social group open to anyone who wishes to get out of the house, meet new people, and discuss books and stories. There are no set novels, genres, or styles of book. There is no snobbery – Shakespeare is not essential reading (although, bring him along if you wish!)! We each just bring along a book that we have been reading. We discuss fiction, non-fiction, biographies, podcasts, and audiobooks. The more variety, the more interesting the conversation. It’s also a great spot to pick up recommendations for your next read! People who read Braille are welcome. £2 per person – includes refreshments. No booking required just pop in and join in…

Alternative Tea Dance – Wednesday 10 June 2-4pm Join us for a alternative tea dance for a warm and welcoming afternoon of music, socialising, and dancing (dancing optional). Tea, coffee and cakes included. Cost: £5 per person Tickets available from Brampton Community Centre, Union Lane, Brampton, CA8 1BX or Book Online Refund Policy: If the event if cancelled by the organiser you will be given a full refund. If you need to cancel your ticket(s) the amount you will be refunded depends on the amount of notice given: Cancellation 22 days more more before the event 100% refunded. Cancellation 8 – 21 days before the event 50% refunded. Cancellation within 7 days or less before the event – no refund.
