This gentle, guided walk through Hestercombe’s formal gardens invites you to slow down, notice the details, and capture them in words. Along the way, you’ll take part in short, accessible writing exercises designed to spark ideas and build confidence. Back in the house, you’ll shape your notes into simple, striking haiku poems, discovering just how powerful a few well-chosen words can be. No previous experience needed, just curiosity and a willingness to give it a go. Led by Somerset-based author and creative writing tutor Jo Middleton, known for her warm, accessible approach to storytelling.
