Dulverton Gardening Club October Talk Thursday 15 October – Saul Walker – ‘Woodland Gardening – The Art of Growing in Shade’ Saul was head gardener at Stonelands House, National Trust and is Kew trained. He has been on the show management team for RHS Hampton Court and the Chelsea Flower Shows. He is a lifelong horticulturist and plantsman and is host of ‘Talking Heads’- a gardening podcast since 2020. He sits on the trustee board of the Hardy Plant Society.

On Friday 12 June, Dulverton Films at Dulverton Town Hall presents… H IS FOR HAWK (Cert 12A) Director: Philippa Lowthorpe 119 mins Helen (Claire Foy), after the sudden death of her father (Brendan Gleeson), loses herself in the memories of their time birding and exploring the natural world together and turns the ancient art of falconry, rooted in European tradition, training a wild goshawk named Mabel to navigate her profound loss. But as she teaches Mabel to hunt and fly free, Helen discovers how deeply she has neglected her own emotions and life. What begins as an act of endurance transforms into an intimate journey of resilience and healing. Tickets-Dulverton Films members £3, non-members £5, students, accompanied by an adult, £2.50.
