Come and learn the art of creating botanical inks at Riverside House. Immerse yourself in the tranquillity of this enchanted wilderness, nestled in the heart of Stourbridge. In this hands on course, you'll learn to identify botanical materials and use them to create a range of natural inks. You will explore and experiment using a range of ingredients to modify your colour palette before exploring drawing and painting processes with these beautiful natural hues. Gathering natural materials from around the site you will use botanical solutions and light to print, using anthotype and vertotype methods. If you want to work creatively with natural, environmentally conscious materials, reflective of your surroundings then this is the course for you. This course is suitable for Age 14+ Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. All materials and equipment are provided. Tea, coffee and refreshments are provided. Bring a packed lunch with you.
