The Drysuit Diehards series is held over 8 Sunday afternoons late in the season. Three dinghy races of up to 40 minutes are planned starting at 14:00, or 13:30 during November, so be on the start line for then. Details of our racing are on the website at http://www.chanonry.org.uk/dinghy-racing.html where you'll find a link to the Sailing Instructions and Courses. If you'd like to take advantage of the safety boat on the water we welcome recreational sailing during racing events. Sign up on this page/window and note "Not Racing" after your name or in a Comment to this event.

Improvers (Block 1) ()

Contact: Improvers provides the opportunity for sailors to improve their skills in an instructor-led session. Arrive ready to go on the water by 6.30pm. Please note that there is a standard £5 charge for this activity to help cover the cost to the club of training instructors. **When signing up please pay_online_to_secure_your_session.: https://www.chanonry.org.uk/store/p84/Improvers_session_fee.html**If you are unable to use PayPal please contact [](mailto: "mailto:") to arrange for an alternative way to pay. If you would like to use a club boat please indicate this on signing up (either next to your name or in the comments section). The sessions are for sailors who have reached a standard broadly equivalent to Adult Level 2 / Junior Stage 3. Whether your aim is to sail recreationally or to race, or even if you’re not sure yet, improving your skills will help you become a better, more confident sailor. Juniors need to bring a completed parental consent form to the first session they attend. Help from parents of juniors participating will be gratefully received as the instructor(s) will need an assistant each on the RIB and we would also need someone on shore during the evening. Contact: An instructor led activity for junior sailors at Stage 1 or above, to develop their sailing skills. Meet at 6.30pm, to launch at 7pm.
