Spiritual Rebirth - Paranita

I first became interested in Buddhism as a teenager from a chance encounter with a book found in my school library. I was immediately struck by how Buddhism taught that I could change how I experience the world and that I could grow as a person. However, it wasn’t until many years later at the Sheffield Buddhist centre, that I began to commit myself fully to Buddhist practice as I saw that practicing Buddhist teachings was having a very positive impact on my life and on the lives of others.

BED! Buddhism for the Energy Deficient is taking place on Saturday 4th July 10:30am to 1pm. Join us for a relaxing and Dharma-infused morning of practice Open to anyone in the Sangha with an energy-limiting health condition. You're welcome to stay on for an optional lunch afterwards (bring your food and snacks to share, if you like). Schedule from 10:30am to 1pm: Lying down relaxation & meditation Group check-in Dharma discussion with break Ending with meditation and mantra Accessibility: The event will take place in the Red Shrine room and the Green room, with the blue room available as a quiet break out room should you need. Please take a lateral flow test (covid test) and don’t attend if you are feeling like you might be getting unwell. If you would like to wear a mask, that is welcome. We will either have some windows open, or use an air purifier. We will set out mats for lying down, cushions and blankets. There will be an optional silent break in the Green room. Please book below so that we know to expect you and we will send a reminder email. It's ok to cancel last minute :) Please contact Angela or Issy on slack if you have any further questions.
