Join us at the fabulous Exale taproom as part of the Walthamstow Art Trail, and learn the ancient art of wax carving. We’ll show you how to carve your very own ring or pendant in jeweller’s wax – no experience needed. In this relaxed, fun and hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to sculpt, carve, and shape your design into life, creating a unique model in hard wax. Tools and materials are provided; all you need to bring are your ideas. At the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with your hand-carved wax model, or choose to have your finished design cast in silver afterwards at an additional cost if you fall in love with it. Locally brewed beer, wine, cocktails and soft drinks available from the bar, together with excellent burgers from Patty & Pickle. Don’t worry if you’ve never held a carving tool before, this workshop is perfect for beginners! Tickets here
