About this event
Late July will see many species already on the move, passing through or arriving to spend the winter and this walk, aimed at beginners or improvers, will focus on the identification of coastal species present on the tidal mud flats and estuary mouth of the River Almond. We will be looking at wading birds and coastal species including seabirds on the Forth. Throughout this informal walk, you will receive lots of useful hints and tips for identifying a range of species and is an ideal opportunity to learn the basics of bird identification.
