This new film from the National Emergency Briefing sets out the risks facing the nation – and the credible, positive responses available – in a clear and accessible account designed for screenings in communities across the UK. The National Emergency Briefing is the result of leading experts and concerned citizens joining forces to encourage UK decision-makers to step up their response to the escalating climate and nature crisis. It is supported by a wide range of well-known organisations, some of which are listed below. This initiative is spearheaded by brothers Simon and Nick Oldridge, climate funders and communicators, with a background in business. We will be joined by Nick Oldridge, along with South Devon Councillor for Totnes, Georgina Allen, and guests for a post-film discussion and call to action — so please do join us.
