Mosaic Culture Hub is thrilled to invite you to the film evening at Mosaic Jewish Community For a viewing of "Un Sac de Billes" Click "more" below for details of the film. Film MOSAIC is open to anyone, why not bring a friend. There will be time for an informal discussion or a chat with friends, with tea, coffee and biscuits after the screening. Donations for our chosen charity would be appreciated if you care to give. In occupied France during World War II, two young Jewish brothers, Maurice and Joseph, are sent by their parents to the Zone libre, and display courage, intelligence and ingenuity as they escape the occupiers and try to reunite their family. This terrific French film tells the moving story of the two young brothers and their journey. It is a warm, tender, yet at the same time harrowing story, that will leave you moved. (French with English Subtitles)

Intermediate Chit-Chat b'Ivrit

This is an opportunity for people to get together and have coffee and conversations in Hebrew. It assumes some basic level of Hebrew but the aim is to converse and improve. It may have to include some grammar!! The teacher is Reuven Vazan who is Israeli, is experienced and already teaching different levels of Hebrew online and face to face as well as in a classroom at Kenton Synagogue for over 7 years. Sessions are held fortnightly and the cost is £10. Participants will be asked to pay in six-week blocks in advance.
