The Rococos are a flexible group of Suffolk musicians specialising in the music of the late-17th and 18th centuries. Our basic line-up is flute, violin, cello and keyboard, although all of us sometimes play other instruments. Our instruments are either originals, or copies of instruments made at the time in which the music was written, apart from our specialist electronic harpsichord (whose sounds are sampled from historical instruments). We therefore aim to reproduce the music in a sound, and style, which would have been familiar to the composers whose music we play. Our programme at Houghton on the Hill is of music by German and French baroque composers. Wine and light refreshments will be available. Ample parking at the Church. Book Tickets

Victoria and Geoff, met in a recording studio in 1997. From that moment on, their musical journey took an upward trajectory, connecting them on a personal level and captivating audiences around the world. In 2018 their song ‘Wings of Red White & Blue’ won the British Airways/Nashville Music City song-writing competition, taking them to record in Nashville, Tennessee and their debut EP ‘Tips In A Jar’ went straight into the iTunes UK Country the following year. Today, celebrated as a well-loved singer-songwriter duo in the UK Country and Americana world, they are driven by shared interests, inspiration, and a love of performance & storytelling through music. Recent performances include : C2C (Country To Country Festival at London's O2 Arena); The British Country Music Festival; Cambridge Folk Festival; Gibson Garage London; Green Note, Camden; Buckle & Boots Festival; The West Country Music Festival; London's Buck & Bull Saloon; Foodies Festivals all across the UK; Country on the Coast & Nashville Calling. They've also appeared overseas, including dates in Nashville, Denver, and Amsterdam and have shared the bill with acts such as Ward Thomas, Sarah Darling, Kezia Gill, Chesney Hawkes, Peter Donegan and The Wandering Hearts. Nelson Sinclair-Strong

A clarinettist and saxophonist based in Kent, Nelson completed an MA in Clarinet Performance at the Royal Academy of Music in 2021, where he also studied as an undergraduate on the Arthur Lyon Scholarship. Recent highlights include the Thursford Christmas Spectacular, Annie, The Phantom of the Opera, Young Frankenstein, and performing with the Odyssey Festival Orchestra at the Queen Elizabeth Hall. Upcoming engagements include London Youth Opera and the Royal Academy of Music Composers Club. Nelson is a passionate chamber musician and founding member of Chiltern Winds, a London-based wind quintet and winner of the Nicholas Blake Woodwind Prize at RAM (2021).
