But who worked here and what did they produce? Discover the lives of the people who contributed to these war efforts, their loves and losses, both in and around the Jewellery Quarter.Journey through Smith and Pepper on a guided tour researched and written by our award-winning historian. Spanning both world wars, you’ll hear about the family connections and service in war, local bombing, a local silversmith soldier, migrant workers and women.Finally, the tour guide will demonstrate some original machines used for munitions work from 1942.Places on this tour are limited.
