: Discover one of Birmingham’s hidden historic gems as New Hall Mill opens its doors. Step inside this beautifully restored working watermill, watch the waterwheel turn, and see traditional milling brought to life by the volunteer team. Visitors can explore the mill’s museum displays, browse the gift shop, enjoy refreshments in the tearoom, and wander through the Miller’s Garden. Children’s activities, plant sales, local crafts, community stalls, and demonstrations will be running throughout the day, offering something for all ages. Guided walks around the meadow and mill pond will share the story of the site’s wildlife and heritage, while live music adds to the relaxed, family‑friendly atmosphere. Freshly milled wholemeal flour will be available in return for a donation. AND… we’ll be there with our information stall.
