Manual lymphatic drainage techniques support the removal of excess fluid, toxins, and waste from the body’s tissues. MLD is widely recognised as an effective treatment for individuals living with the debilitating effects of lymphoedema and is also beneficial pre- and post-surgery to help minimise oedema and support recovery. Early intervention is key in lymphoedema management, and this course equips therapists with the skills to apply safe, effective drainage techniques while providing clients with guidance on lifestyle support and self-lymphatic drainage (SLD) between treatments.
