Knitwits is eagerly looked forward to every 2nd Saturday by local folks and those further afield. Anyone who enjoys knitting, crochet or any craftwork will be very welcome regardless of level or skill. There is a relaxed atmosphere beginning with tea/coffee and snacks. If you fancy a two-hour break doing what you enjoy among ladies with similar interests, you will really appreciate these gatherings. You will find help and encouragement for your projects and friendly folks to chat with (plenty of chat!) If this applies to you why don't you drop in, you will be made most welcome – looking forward to seeing you!

Urban Crafts Blanket Club Wednesday’s | 10am-11am | £10 per person Tea, coffee & biscuits included Free ball of super chunky Yarn included in your first class! Looking for a cozy, creative way to spend your Wednesday mornings? Join me for our laid-back Blanket Club! Unlike our structured workshops, this isn’t about finishing a project in one go, it’s a relaxed, weekly drop-in where you can work at your own pace, get hands-on guidance, and enjoy a bit of chat and crafting with others who love chunky knits. We’ll mainly focus on blanket projects, but you’re more than welcome to bring along any chunky knit you’re working on. Whether you’re just getting started or stuck on a tricky part, I’ll be there to help! Each week, we’ll explore different techniques like: Starting and shaping your blanket Adding hearts and flowers Changing colours Experimenting with new stitches It’s all about slowing down, stitching away, and enjoying good company. Come by every week or just when you need a bit of extra help — the kettle’s always on. 24-Hour Cancellation Policy Please note that I require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or rescheduling.
