IKO Kitesufing Instructor Training Course (ITC) in Essex, UK Become an internationlly recognised IKO kitesurfing instructor. About the course 5-day professional course designed for Assistant Instructors to become Instructors. Trainer Matty Hurrell Level required – Minimum age is 18 years old. – IKO Assistant Certification. – IKO Level 4 Advanced (Jump with grab, jump transition, ride toeside, ride upwind, recover a board and a rider in deep water, self-rescue in deep water, self-launch and self-land). You can bring a video of yourself wearing safety equipment demonstrating riding skills in case of lack of wind. – Valid First Aid Certificate (MFA or equivalent). Online certificate not accepted. What is included – 5-day course with an Examiner. – The Instructor certification when you demonstrate the required level. – IKO Plus Membership with professional and recreational liability insurance. Once you are certified, your membership will be updated and valid for one year from the course start date.
