Our Life Groups at HBC are typically made up of 6-12 people of all ages and backgrounds, who want to learn more about Jesus and how to follow Him in everyday life. We do this by studying the bible, asking questions, and discussing our experiences and knowledge together, and supporting each other through prayer. We often have a topic or book that we study and reflect upon. Sometimes all our groups follow the same topic or book and this shared "theme" is continued in the talk at our Sunday service.

Time: Thursday, 4 June 2026 at 10:00Details: Take a Break is a lunch and social club for people with mild to moderate dementia. This group runs on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month and every Thursday from 10am-2pm. / It is a group whereby families can leave their loved ones with trained staff, knowing that they are in a safe and friendly environment. The aim is to encourage and promote their individual abilities and so giving them a sense of self-worth. The time is filled with plenty of conversation, games, quizzes, craft and singing. / Drinks and biscuits are provided along with a two course lunch. People attending this group have stated “we love each other here like family”. / This, in itself, makes our journey well worthwhile.Location: The Pathways Centre
