Live At The Victoria: W3G (We Three Girls)

W3GTheir story from their website W3G "An 8-piece soul and funk band that knows how to have a blast! We bring the fun with live performances of all floor-filler tunes, ensuring the audience has as much fun as we do. We don't take things too seriously, just seriously entertaining!" The band was formed from a one off to perform at BunkFest in 2021. We had a fantastic time and a great reception and decided that we all wanted to continue working together. Chris joined us at this point as our drummer and combined with Neil (guitar), Andrew (Bass), Dan (Keys), the lovely Anne (Sax) and Clare, Suzie and Trish (Vocals) and W3G was born. Clare and Trish had sung together in a couple of different bands for years, so it was fortuitous for them to meet with such a talented group of musicians to share our love of soul, disco, funk and anything else that takes our fancy. The close three-part harmonies, melodic Saxophone and funky tightness of keys, guitar bass and drums offer a distinctive vibe to our music. We play a mixture of soul classics, funk, disco and some great crowd-pleasing curve balls in our feel good and party vibe setlist.
