Founded in 2004, The Catalyst Club is a monthly event inspired by French salons, old debating societies and the wonderfully odd traditions of gentlemen’s clubs. Over the years it has hosted more than 700 talks on everything from zombie films and Marmite to suffragettes, Spartans, bum-reading and slime mould. The only rule: three speakers, each delivering a 15-minute talk on something they’re truly passionate about – the more unusual or niche, the better. After it's first visit to Rockaway in December 2025, Catalyst Club is back monthly for 2026. Tickets Here Spaces are limited. Come for an evening of ideas, stories, surprises and community in one of the most extraordinary venues in the South West. Food Rockaway will be open from 12midday and serving their famous vegan roasts, not to be missed! You can add these to your booking for a 3pm seating ahead of the talk.
