The Concert

Tickets cost only £10, with an opportunity to donate on the night Now in its third year, this sell-out event is returning to the Regal Theatre. Some 40 singers – both choir and soloists – plus an 18-strong orchestra will present an evening of music and light-hearted entertainment. There’ll be an eclectic mix of music: songs from Phantom of the Opera, Pirates of Penzance, and Chess; haunting, reflective pieces such as Benedictus and Stabat Mater by Karl Jenkins, and Requiem for a Soldier; power-ballads such as You’re My World and Skyfall; Hot Stuff, The Show Must Go On and Barcelona… Come along and listen to these talented local musicians and at the same time support Cancer Research UK
