What you will learn In this class you will make willow trivets or dishes and birdfeeders or garlic baskets. Have a go at willow weaving and make a couple of useful items. Weaving with willow does require some strength in the hands but these projects are perfect for complete beginners who have never worked with willow before and are not sure if they will manage a larger basket. You will make at least two items in the day. For all tuition classes Classes are for small groups of up to four people in my studio. All the willow we will be using is our homegrown willow and you will get an opportunity to learn about growing, harvesting and preparing willow for weaving. This class with go ahead as long as two people book. To allow for preparation time bookings close three weeks before the class. Tea, coffee, biscuits, and fruit included. Please bring your own lunch.
