Welcome to our farm. We have sheep and grow combinable crops such as beans, barley and wheat. We also have a strong environmental focus with parts of the farm used to provide habitat and food sources for wildlife. This is our second time doing Open Farm Sunday and we will have guided farm walks through the day lasting about 20-30 minutes. We will have tractors and other machinery on display and lots of info on the farm and its wildlife. As well as free activities and games, there will be limited places available for paid felting workshops. Some of the competitive games will have a £1 charge to raise money for charity with a prize for the highest score of the day. There will also be stalls from local producers and businesses. Booking is optional for the free event. Separate booking for the felting workshops is recommended. About this farm: We are Edward and Hannah Faulding and we are the 5th generation of the family to live and work here. We use Regenerative Agricultural practices to grow combinable crops such as Oats, Barley and Beans. We also run a flock of sheep that are predominantly kept for their meat, but we also keep a few of the best fleeces back for Hannah to craft with. Highlights: Cereal crops (eg. barley, wheat); Sheep; Flowers and plants; Environmental stewardship Booking details: Link to Follow
