CoolKatz are proud to open our new Shop! It’s so convenient it fits right onto your bookshelf and you can even take away one side entirely to give the best view of all the goodies inside. These multi-part precision cut MDF kits can be purchased together or separately depending on what you want to make and are purrfect for crafters and Book Nook enthusiasts. There are loads of possibilities; perhaps a wizardly shop full of potions ingredients or a beautiful dress shop or even an amazing craft shop run by two fantastic feline friends (obviously best!) Dimensions: Height 160mm. Width 140mm. Shop Rear depth 160mm. Shop Front Depth 110mm. Combined depth 200mm. We have a range of miniature decorations available here on our website so please take a look! *Images decorated post assembly - the second image shows the undecorated nook. Decorative mediums, embellishments and assembly glue not included. Note: The embellishments as in the photos e.g. plates, cups, curtains and scenery were made by the person who assembled this nook. Open Decks - Calling all DJs

Do you DJ? Are you an aspiring DJ? Ever wanted to give it a go? Well, now is your chance! Every month, on the first Friday of each month, we once again open up our DJ booth to anyone with some tunes to play… all genres and styles are welcome – we’re excited to hear some surprises… All DJs welcome, whether you normally play to no-one in your bedroom, or have already been ripping up dancefloors in huge clubs, with thousands of revellers…. How does it work? Each DJ will be given a 30 minute slot. We recommend bringing music loaded to a USB stick, but if you wanted to play using another method, drop us a line in advance and we can likely make the appropriate arrangements… Slots will be assigned on the night – on a first-come, first-served, basis… so come early to avoid disappointment… There is a free drink for all performers, so grab it after your set! What if I just want to dance? You are more than welcome! What good is a DJ without a crowd… come down, listen, dance, and give everyone feedback… and help us find the best talent Peterborough has to offer…

Join us for a special screening of two short films by UK-based documentary filmmaker Damian Sciberras: More Like Paul and Saved by Jane. We’ll be showing both short films twice: once at 1-1.30pm and then again at 2-2.30pm. Please select one time slot when booking your tickets. Free admission, with a suggested £5 donation to Hakuna Matata Animal Sanctuary. (Donations taken on the day.) This beautifully moving short story shares an insight into Jane’s commitment, compassion and love for rescuing animals that most of our society considers food. Showing them the same respect as our companion animals, Jane has created a forever home for over one-hundred and thirty farm animals. More Like Paul (run time: 23 minutes) More Like Paul is an award-winning life-affirming documentary short about purpose, resilience and the influence of those who live by example – reminding us that meaningful change can begin with a single step, at any stage of life. Now 88, Paul Youd is on a mission to complete 100 ultramarathons before his 100th birthday. He defies age and injury, proving that determination can carry us further than we think. As a passionate advocate and fundraiser for animal protection, Paul uses his journey to challenge perceptions and inspire change – championing what’s possible with a plant-powered lifestyle.
