It is what it says on the tin - it's all about dance, the music is afro-beat, you can't help worshipping, and it does you good. It's about friendship, fun, confidence-building, and fitness too. And if you can stop yourself smiling and laughing, you're a real Scrooge character. Some people 'dance' sitting down - whatever size, shape, age or fitness level, you can join in. Why don't you?

Pause to Pray

Each Thursday evening a group of us gather to pray for personal, parish and global concerns. We sometimes focus our prayers by studying God's word, or share bread and wine together using a simple communion service drawn from Iona material. Do join us - some come every week, but really it's a case of come as you feel led. Please note that we will be moving the location for Pause to Pray to St Aidan's starting from the first week of September 2025.

Play and Praise

Play and Praise is a simple service for pre schoolers (0-3) to nurture their innate spirituality! During term-time there is a service every Friday at St Peter's from 9.30am to 11.00 am. Action songs, story, followed by tea, coffee and play. Play and Praise also meets at St Aidan's on Mondays at the same time.

As we grow together as a parish, we meet every week at St Aidan's at 11am in a challenging contemporary form of worship, which is still 100% "Church of England". We welcome all ages, we take everyone's faith journey seriously, and we're committed to travelling together, worshipping together and serving together.

At Come and See, we do exactly that. We gather, pray, study, sing and see what God has to say to us. It's a low-key gathering equally suited to those exploring faith for the first time, or seeking to feed a life-long faith.
