Tuesday 14th October, 7.30pm Birse and Feughside Church, Finzean. Katrina Lee is a highly acclaimed violinist and collaborative musician based in Scotland. A multi-award winning violinist she presently plays with the BBC SSO. She has played for Aboyne audiences a number of times, and she loves playing in the Church in Finzean so much that she chosen to include it in the venues where she will be playing pieces from her new album “Chronicles for Solo Violin”. She will be performing in the Birse and Feughside Church, Finzean on Tuesday 14th , a variety of lesser known pieces, including works by Sophie Carmen Eckhardt-Gramatte, Sally Beamish, Elizabeth Maconchy and Grazyna Bacewicz. Refreshments will be provided after the concert, when you will have a chance to talk to Katrina.
