Open Farm Sunday at Cornhill Farm

Visitors to the farm will be able to meet the hens, pigs and other farm animals, go on tractor trailer rides, see the farm machinery, walk through our new tree planting projects. Visitors will also be able to have a go at packing and grading their own eggs, and there will be other fun activities such as making eggy bread to do. This year, the farm events will run from midday to 5pm and we will then have the band Double Bounce featuring our very own farmer Len Olds on the keyboard playing in our Barley Barn from approx 5 - 7pm! There will be refreshments throughout the event. About this farm: A mixed poultry and arable farm with 17,000 layng hens and a small number of pigs. 10,000 trees have also been recently planted as part of agroforesty and new woodland projects. The farm grows and mills its own chicken feed, and grades, packs and delivers all of the eggs to local customers.
