Presented by Blockley, Ebrington & Mickleton Gardening Clubs. Join broadcaster, writer and gardener Rachel de Thame for an inspiring evening exploring the vital relationship between pollinators and plants in a changing climate. In a fascinating 45-minute talk, Rachel will share her insights on creating resilient, wildlife-friendly gardens and the role gardeners can play in supporting biodiversity for future generations. Following the talk, there will be an interval with an opportunity to purchase books and meet Rachel, before an audience Q&A session featuring questions from members of the Blockley, Ebrington and Mickleton Gardening Clubs. Rachel is a familiar face to gardening enthusiasts as a regular presenter on BBC Gardeners' World and the Royal Horticultural Society Flower Show coverage. She is also an accomplished writer, magazine columnist and author of several gardening books. Her design projects have included the Chelsea Flower Show and the Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant Royal Barge, while her speaking engagements have taken her to venues including Highgrove, The Ashmolean Museum, The Garden Museum, Oxford Botanic Garden and The Royal Geographical Society. Rachel is Vice President of Plantlife, a National Garden Scheme Ambassador, Patron of the British Iris Society and an Ambassador for the Hardy Plant Society.
