PREMA ARTS CENTRE Make your own ring as a unique gift or a custom piece of jewellery to keep in this lovely group workshop at Prema Arts. With the help of Charlotte, you’ll use the tools and techniques to make and finish your own silver ring. Charlotte has been teaching and hosting workshops since 2013. Charlotte can help you with design inspiration, she will have sample designs and images to help you decide on your own personal design, within the limits of the materials provided. Charlotte will guide you through the making process where you’ll cut, shape, and hammer your silver and then form and solder into a ring. If you’d like any texturing on your finished piece you can practice texturing techniques in copper first. This is a chance to make your own memorable piece of jewellery as a gift or something special to keep. "Charlotte taught me a huge amount in a very short time. I was keen to understand about setting stones and she was able to help to teach me claw setting, tube setting, flush setting, basket setting and tension setting. She was fun to learn from and I achieved more than I thought I would through her patience and good humour. Truly an inspirational tutor!" Helen
