St Mary's is pleased to be hosting this event - Become a Dentia Friend. This training is put on through Home Instead by a Alzheimer's Ambassador. The sessions last about one hour and at the end of a 'A Dementia Friend' and are given a badge to show this. Being a Dementia Friend simply means learning more about dementia, putting yourself in the shoes of someone living with the conition, and turning your understanding into action.
