The Larry Fuller Trio

Since touring with Ray Brown in early 2000s, American pianist Larry Fuller has built a reputation as one of the hardest-swinging pianists on the scene. Yamaha-endorsed Fuller honed his craft the 'old school way' - on the bandstand in legendary ensembles: Ray Brown Trio, Jeff Hamilton Trio, John Pizzarelli Quartet and as musical director/pianist for Ernestine Anderson. In honor of Ray Brown's 100th birthday, the NYC-based Larry Fuller Trio will perform a special tribute to Fuller's mentor and former boss - showcasing arrangements Fuller himself performed in Brown's Trio. Expect to hear a super-swinging program delivered by a true jazz piano monster. Rounding out the trio is Lorin Cohen on bass (Monty Alexander Trio) and Carmen Intorre, Jr. on drums (Joey DeFrancesco).
