A walk by local bat expert James Shipman. Did you know bats can live for up to 30 years? James explains where they live, how they fly in the dark, and why they are so important and protected by law. After a brief talk outside the Museum, James will help us to see several species that emerge at dusk nearby (weather dependent). The meeting point for the walk is at the front of West Berkshire Museum, outside the main entrance (on the wide pavement). The event starts promptly at 9.45pm. There will be no access to West Berkshire Museum before, during or after the event. Friday 5 June | 9.45pm-10.20pm | West Berkshire Museum | £5 Places are limited. Tickets (£5 per person) must be purchased in advance: https://tinyurl.com/5autfndx
