Pocklington Wolds Women’s Institute We meet at 1.30pm on the 2 nd Monday of every month. We are a friendly group of women with different backgrounds and mix of ages. Outside of our regular monthly meetings we also meet socially for coffee, crafting, gardening, lunches, book group and we have an annual outing. We are not all Jam and Jerusalem! You don’t need to bake cakes, know how to knit or even sing, it’s just a great way to make new friends, have a bit of fun and maybe even pick up a new skill. Your first meeting is free, no need to call first please just come along, you will be made very welcome

Pocklington & District U3A

Pocklington & District U3A U3A, as a charity aims to encourage groups of people no longer in full-time work to come together and continue their enjoyment of learning subjects of interest to them. The U3A Drop-In sessions are usually held on the first THURSDAY of each month, between 10.00am and 11.45am, at the Community Centre Come for a cup of coffee/tea and catch up with what is happening. Various Group Leaders will be in attendance to advise re their group activity and engage new members. Other classes currently held at the hall include Canasta on the first and third Tuesdays and even the occasional disco.
