Community Workshops We hope that you will enjoy our 2026 workshops. 2026 is a big year for Creative Melbourne and our older sibling Melbourne Festival. This will be the 21st Melbourne Festival on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th September and we hope you can join us to celebrate in style! We are nearing completion of South Derbyshire in Stitches a story quilt highlighting what Melbourne and South Derbyshire people love about the place they live. It has been an amazing project, funded by an Derbyshire County Council Derbyshire Makes Award and will be on show at the Festival. Thanks to a National Lottery Project Grant awarded by Arts Council England we are working with Melbourne Hall to create a Secret Sculpture Garden in Melbourne Hall Gardens which will be open August 1st to September 20th. Donations to Creative Melbourne are welcome.
