Free Entry AlphaLine started out as an experimental project conceived during lockdown that evolved and mutated, finally growing into a 4-piece band. Their sound draws on trip hop, jazz, funk, ambient electronica and alternative psychedelic rock. Ex-Kilter guitarist Stu synched up with ex-Ruby Dawn rhythm section Anne (bass) and Joshua (drums) plus the effervescent songstress Caz (vocals) to create a unique and eclectic experience, perfect for appreciators of bands such as Massive Attack and Porcupine Tree.

Free Entry Our second gig at this esteemed establishment. Gonna bring our sackful of glamtastic smash hits for you to dance your socks of too, like it was 1973!! Get Down & Get With It!!! On a mission to keep Glam Rock alive, Slurred are an English rock band trapped in a time warp. Their stage show evokes memories of the worst excesses of the 1970’s ‘glam rock’ era including a riot of hair, colour, shades and vertigo-inducing platforms. Their shows encompass a full range of classic Glam Rock hits from that period in 1970’s when flamboyance in dress-sense and music was omni-present. Slurred do their very best to bring this experience to you with every performance and guarantee that you’ll be out on the dance floor shaking your thaang!! But of course this always works best if you’re dressed for the part too….. So don’t forget your best flares, platforms and other glam gear. The shinier, the better. Few would doubt that, in a very real sense, they bring a welcome shot of Glam to any night out. And remember: You Know When You’ve Been Slurred!!

Ticket Only Event We are very pleased to announce the return of Brave Rival to Thames Side Brewery on 7th June 26. Brave Rival are the South East’s rip-roaring rock and blues Machine. Hailing from Portsmouth, the UK Blues Award Nominated band features the powerful and beautiful vocals of Lindsey Bonnick. On lead guitar, providing dramatic guitar solos and crunching rock riffs is Ed “The Shred” Clarke, and holding it all together is the rhythmic backbone, the self-proclaimed engine room of Billy Dedman (bass) and Donna Peters (drums). Drawing influence from the likes of John Mayer, Aretha Franklin, Heart, Fleetwood Mac, Led Zeppelin and Tedeschi Trucks, Brave Rival offer a style and sound that you’ve always known, and yet never heard before.
