Côr Meibion De Cymru in Concert

Côr Meibion De Cymru is one of Wales’ renowned male choirs at one time having had over 500 members, making it Wales’ biggest male choir!  These days, the Choir is smaller but can still turn on the power when required.  Known for the passion in their singing and warmth of tone, the Choir is more often to be found on overseas tours acting as ambassadors for Welsh culture and the Welsh male choir tradition, so this is a rare opportunity to hear them in Chippenham!  The programme offers a mixture of rousing traditional Welsh hymn tunes, opera choruses, dramatic musical theatre hits, and modern anthems alongside some more contemporary beautiful Welsh songs: in short, something for everyone!  The Choir has a number of rehearsal groups spread through South Wales – and one near Cirencester!
