About this event
The Exciseman’s Chase is an 8km timed pursuit race from Maidens Harbour to Gas House Bay, Culzean Castle and return with a crew change at Gas House Bay. The cox may remain with the boat in each direction but rowing crew must be a change of exit and re-boarding (2men + 2 female in each direction). Due to capacity limits, only 1 skiff per club may enter, maximum of 14 boats to take part. BY INVITATION ONLY Start 10.30am – 3pm Catering (all available for monetary donations): Bacon rolls, tea & coffee available on arrival, home baking and BBQ lunch available. Tea, Coffee & Soft drinks available for the duration of the racing day. In addition we will again run our popular bottle stall throughout the day. We hope you can join us for a wonderful day of skiff racing off the beautiful Maidens coastline where you will receive a warm welcome, some seriously good rowing andsome fun and laughter thrown in.
