[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””] With Bianca Garcia 4 week taster course starting Friday, 5th June 2026 12pm – 2pm £36.00 for the full 4 week course payable in advance. → Week 1: Graphite and Charcoal (please bring your own mixed media pad, pencil and charcoal) Week 2: Pastels Oil/Chalk Week 3: Acrylic Paints Week 4: Watercolour Paints Materials will be available to purchase for weeks 2 – 4 at a cost of £2.00 per week. (Learner painting by J. Siebert.)[/vc_column_text][vc_separator css=””][vc_column_text]For all sessions bring an HB pencil, an eraser, your sketchpad, masking tape. (If a painting session) additionally bring water pots and at least one palette knife or butter knife for mixing paint, a drawing board would be very helpful. Materials will be available to purchase for weeks 2-4 at a cost of £2 per session per learner if you do not have the equipment required. WEEK SUBJECT EQUIPMENT Week 1 (June 5th) Pencils and Charcoal Assessment- Line and Form-lets see where you are in your art journey Sketching graphite pencils, charcoal, pencil sharpener or craft knife, putty rubber, hard eraser, paper smudging sticks (Also known as a blending stump)or tortillons if you have them, mixed media paper. Week 2: (June 12th) Pastels Oil pastels or soft, chalky pastels, pastel pencils are great too, mixed media or pastel paper, tortillons or compressed paper smudge stick.
