Lady Brunner was a long time patron of the arts, and it's in this spirit we celebrate local art at Greys Court. From 13 June to the 12 July, the walled gardens and Cromwellian building will be filled with sculpture of all different sizes and mediums for you to admire. There are also a range of indoor sculptures on display in the Cromwellian building, where you can also find our sales desk manned by one of the sculptors who are always happy to talk about the work on display.

The Darling Buds of May: An art exhibition at Greys Court, 19 May to

This joyful exhibition depicts the natural world of woodlands, gardens, meadows and wildlife, with all the energy of nature and rhythm of the seasons in the Chilterns. Kate Findlay, Sarah Pye and Janet Richardson return for three weeks, to greet you, chat about and share their new collections for 2026. Kate Findlay is a textile artist and teacher who lives and works in the Reading and Henley – on-Thames area. Author, designer & textile artist Kate specialises in raw edge appliqué & embroidery. Kate’s love of nature is evident in her beautiful fabric collections inspired by birds & animals, which she incorporates into her textile art with layers of free-motion embroidery & hand stitch. Sarah Pye creates large impressionist paintings, freely and intuitively. There are never preliminary sketches or plans, only a blank canvas, lots of paint and the excitement of an idea fired by an exquisite view or image. Janet Richardson has been making and teaching jewellery for over 40 years and her designs concentrate on form and technique. Flow, texture and carving informs most of her work. She likes her work to be timeless, enhance the body and come to life when worn by the owner. Her work continues to be exhibited here in Britain and abroad, has featured in a variety of publications including Vogue and is part of the contemporary jewellery collection at the Dallas Museum of Art, USA.
