About this event

Social Open to all ages and experience levels, our community samba band is a great opportunity for a fun, social and expressive activity. The band rehearses weekly on a Tuesday and takes part in a range of performances and events throughout the year. You may have seen them at the First Light Festival, Halloween at the Pier or Norwich Lord Mayor’s Procession. The band started in April 2023. It is lead by Marcus Patteson (Rabo de Foguete) an experienced local Samba tutor and carnivalist. They play a range of traditional and contemporary grooves drawn from Brazilian (and other) carnival. Sunrise Samba can also be booked for a range of events. Contact us for a price. No experience necessary and all instruments supplied. Children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult.
