Our Mad About Models Super Sunday open day at Bridgeton Bus Garage with the GVVT vehicle collection and added attractions. Free vintage bus rides and a free shuttle service to the City Centre operate on Super Sundays. Please note, due to roadworks, our City Centre pick up stop for this event is on Cochrane Street. The bus stop can be found on this Google Maps link. Buses operate every 15 minutes throughout the day. We are unable to serve Bellgrove Station on this event. We have many visiting groups displaying model trains, boats, buses and so much more including: The Paisley Society of Model Engineers Club. – They will bring a static display of three or four engines from their miniature railway, located in Barshaw Park, Paisley, plus some other related railway models. Glasgow Miniature Armour Group – Displaying military vehicles including tanks, landing crafts etc Scottish Road Archive Team – Displaying a selection of road memorabilia along with their two large cabinet displays The Tramway and Light Railway Society will be displaying their Blackpool to Bridgeton OO Gauge layout and two, large scale Glasgow trams. The East Kilbride Model Railway Club will be visiting our Super Sunday – featured in Hornby Magazine early this year, their OO gauge layout called Clarence Sidings will be on display. Cumbernauld Model Railway Group will be showing their small 00 gauge children’s layout, named Jim’s Pals Fancy a shot on a simulator?
