Join Deb Hart, a locally renowned artist, to learn the traditional craft of willow weaving! Deb has been running willow and basket weaving workshops across the UK and Canada for the past 20 years. She has worked with the National Trust, English Heritage, Royal Horticultural Society, and numerous charities, and schools. Her willow creations have featured at Chelsea and Hampton Court Flower Shows. Notably, locally – Deb led the willow “German U-boat” and “Willow Whale” on Harwich Beach. Workshop 1: 9.30am – 12.30pm When: Thursday, 4th June 2026 Make a Herbaceous Plant Support : £95pp Learn the traditional craft of making natural plant supports for the garden. The workshop will focus on making a large versatile herbaceous support, suitable for a range of perennials and made from natural willow. A three hour workshop. Learn to create a large natural herbaceous plant support for your garden. Practice crafting techniques and take home your own handmade support. Drinks included (hot or cold). Workshop 2: 1.30pm – 3.30pm (SOLD OUT) When: Thursday, 4th June 2026 Make a Dragonfly Garden Sculpture : £45pp The workshop will focus on making a natural and unique garden sculpture from natural willow. You will practice how to craft the willow and make your own dragonfly sculpture.
