Thursday Evenings 18:30 – 20:30 Want to tackle your next home project yourself? Join experienced carpenter/maker, Stuart of Big House Events, and learn how to use hand and power tools. This course is aimed at those keen to fix, build and finish small projects, and unearth the secrets of basic woodworking and repair for DIY. Learn the basics of home improvement and small builds – from understanding what is you in your tool box, to making small plaster frames, hanging shelves, simple construction, and the importance of finding the right tool for the job. Participants will leave with their own handmade simple plywood toolbox, and the confidence to begin their own projects at home, FEE COVERS 4 weeks of 2 hour sessions (8 hours total) of supervised work and support with experienced carpenters 50% off purchase of your first Annual Membership All course materials (including project handouts) Guidance on beginning future projects Course participants must be 18+.
