Come and volunteer with us! Redeemer will be feeding the homeless, praying with them and serving those who need it most! Ealing Soup Kitchen has been helping the homeless and those in need since 1973. Whilst we don't provide shelter for our guests, we help with almost every other facet of their lives – from sourcing warm clothes, providing free haircuts, a free shower service, advocacy for all sorts of issues, giving them a hearty meal and – perhaps most importantly – giving them time. Time to talk and know they're not alone! Your upcoming volunteer shift may involve one or more of the following tasks: - welcoming guests - serving tea and coffee, - serving food at the table, - helping with food preparation, - washing dishes, - cleaning surfaces and floors, - chatting with guests to get to know them, - praying with and for them.
