About this event
Hosted by the Northamptonshire Badger Group and suitable for young adults age 18-30. Join the Northamptonshire Badger group to discover all about badgers, including how to spot the signs that they live on a site, their setts and how to survey for them. The event will start in the visitor centre with a talk on badger ecology, followed by walk looking for signs of tracks, trails and setts. This walk is a Nene Valley Mammal Youth Group event which w=has been set up to inspire young people (0-30) to learn about mammals and take action to protect them. This walk is for for young adults aged between 18-30. This badger walk is a Nene Valley Mammal Youth Group event. The group has been formed to inspire young people (Aged 0-30) to learn about mammals and take action to protect them. Young people will be able spend time outdoors, meet like-minded people, and develop their skills to become citizen scientists and active conservationists. The group has been set up in response to, and with, local young people who have a passion for nature and is part of the local network of the Mammal Society, Britain’s leading charity devoted to the science-led conservation of mammals.
