Join us on the farm for a tour of the flower fields, orchards, meadows and woodlands. Hattie, the resident flower farmer will guide you around the farm, explain the tasks that are taking place and share some top tips and give you time to explore. After the tour there will be time for tea and questions. Date: 11th October 2026 Time: 10.30am - 12.00pm Location: Laxton, East Yorkshire Please note: The event is outdoors, please wear suitable footwear for walking on uneven ground. The event will run if it rains and only be cancelled in extreme weather conditions.

Nature Journaling

Join Hattie on the farm for an immersive and restorative workshop that will be a tonic for the soul. You will leave with a new skill and feeling restored. Nature journaling is the practice of recording observations and experiences in nature through writing, sketches, and notes. It involves documenting details about various aspects of the natural world, such as plants, animals, and landscapes, using words and sketches to create a deeper connection with nature. This practice can be done by anyone, regardless of artistic ability. Its a great skill to have as its a mindful, calming process and can be done anywhere. Hattie our resident flower farmer is trained in Nature Journaling and will a guided tour and then support you to create your nature journal. You will be gifted a journal and the stationary needed as well as tea & coffee. So you just need to bring your wonderful self! Date 8th August 2026 Time 10.30am - 12.30pm Location Gathered at Dusk Flower Farm, Laxton, East Yorkshire Please note - numbers are limited to 6 to ensure that you have a supported time and the space to immerse yourself.

Seasonal Flower Workshop

This is the first workshop in a series of creative flower workshops. Each workshop will be joyful creative and fun. You will be using the best of the season flowers cut fresh from the farm. Each of the series a different arrangement will be made and the price of the workshop includes all the flowers and mechanics/vessels. The workshop is aimed at those who are new to flower arranging but open to all. You may want to book them all as a series or individually. The September workshop is ALL about dahlias. We will work with them in a number of different ways letting your creativity run wild! The workshop also includes a farm tour. There will be delicious refreshments to enjoy throughout the workshop Date: 19th September 2026 Time: 10.00am - 12.30pm Location: Laxton Village Hall and Gathered at Dusk Flower Farm, East Yorkshire Please note: Some of the workshop is outdoors, please wear suitable footwear for walking on uneven ground.
