Lang Toun summer trails - Connecting Wemyss Ware Cats cycle

Join us for an off-road adventure! Starting in Beveridge Park, this cycle links Kirkcaldy to the Wemyss Ware Cats in Auchtertool, Burntisland and Kinghorn on the Wemyss Ware Cat Trail. This route is challenging, with plenty of rough sections, climbing and technical descents. The ride will be led by Greener Kirkcaldy’s Active Travel Project Manager, David Glover who is an experienced mountain bike rider, racer and multi-day bikepacker. David has a Mountain Bike Leader qualification and as a UKCC Level 2 MTB coach, so you will be in safe, capable hands. The route map can be found here. With riding on all types of surfaces, there will be elevations changes to challenge you going up as well as down, and plenty of chance to share stories and the fun of off-road riding. Please bring sufficient fluid and snacks to keep you going for 3 hours of riding Additional Information Please note that this bike ride is weather-dependent and is not suitable for younger children. 16+ years only. You should be able to ride a bicycle on un-sealed paths and rougher off-road surfaces You should have an off-road capable bicycle in safe working order.
