Our Man in the Field return to home turf for a full band show. Since the last time the band appeared in Saltburn they have graced stages at Glastonbury festival and the Royal Albert Hall and opened for Neil Young, Van Morrison and Cat Stevens at Hyde Park. Don;t miss this opportunity to catch the full band in the most intimate of settings. As Bob Harris says: "Sensational Band, don't miss them!".

Saltburn Folk Club Concert - The Hayes Sisters supported by Carolyn & Bernie Mitchell

The Stockport based sisters Cathryn and Angela have woven a tapestry of harmonies and storytelling into their music, that reflects their cultural heritage. Originally a band of 3 siblings, The Hayes Sisters have played on the folk scene for several years, sharing the stage with many well-known and respected musicians. An evening with the sisters comes with a combination of familiar standards and their own penned songs – inspired by personal experiences, politics, love and literature. Cath & Ange sometimes invite other artists to join them in their musical performances – on ‘3 for the price of 2 nights’ little sister, Jenny, returns to add a third harmony, a banjo and inspired twists and interpretations to the songs; and at other times they expand their repertoire when they welcome the guitar, piano, bass and percussion talents of Oli Pratt & Dave Hadden from The Strines; and at last, but never least, their close collaboration with the hugely talented guitarist singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Clive Gregson, over the years, sees the Sisters take to the stage with a unique blend of original and re-worked covers.
