Lets get groovy this June with an all out 70s Disco. The 1970s were the golden age of disco, a genre that brought glamour, infectious rhythms, and pulsating basslines to the dancefloors of the world. From the glitzy nightclubs of New York to the discothèques of Paris, disco defined a generation and left an indelible mark on pop culture. Music from, ABBA, Gloria Gaynor and Sister Sledge… Boarding from 7.30pm for an 8pm departure. Tickets include cruise and small buffet.

Introducing PoW! Glenside Hospital Museum is not just about preserving history — it’s about shaping the future. Thanks to funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, 2025 marked the launch of the PoW! (Protect Our Wellbeing) initiative. PoW! is an innovative initiative designed to empower individuals to explore and enhance their mental health and overall wellbeing by engaging with Glenside Hospital Museum’s unique heritage. Event Calendar Sign up for news Timetable of our current events & experiences What brings me joy Open to visitors during normal museum opening hours Join us to e xplore this colourful and uplifting new exhibition This exhibition features work from 25 artists who responded to explore the theme of joy: what brings it, how it feels, and where it can be found. The artists have used a wide range of media including oils, watercolour, pencil, textiles, collage, and sculpture. Their pieces are displayed throughout the museum’s galleries, integrated with the existing collection. Visitors are invited to discover them through a self-guided treasure hunt, designed to encourage exploration and reflection. More info + tickets Tea in the Turret: every Saturday We invite you to enjoy tea and cake in our quirky little secret space EVENT NOW EXTENDED FOR 2026 The turret room and balcony were constructed in 1881 as part of the Chapel. We've transformed this historic and unique space into a light hearted reflection of the museum's content.
